These shoes are fairly comfortable but they are a little small for my wide feet. I did see after that they recommend going up a size if this is the case. All in all they perform very well. I like the waterproof toe and they are comfortable wearing all day long.

The shoes were for our son who mows lawns and does other landscape projects in between college semesters over the summer. The 1st pair of shoes we bought started to come apart at the front. I contacted Kujo and got an immediate response. The contact was very transparent and said some batches had quality issues due to an adhesive not working properly. He ensured this had been rectified and immediately shipping a new pair of shoes. The new pair were heavily used and showed none of the issues the 1st pair did. The customer service was exceptional and the 2nd pair shows the quality we've come to expect from Kujo. Would definitely purchase from them again, and would highly recommend.

These are great for working in the yard. Unfortunately you didn’t have a size short enough, but I had them hemmed up and they seem to be strong and breathable.

Purchased the Jax approximately a month ago for use working in my yard. Initial order was for the same size as the variety of other shoes that I wear. However, I had to exchange it for a half size larger because the first pair was obviously going to be too tight. The larger size still left me doubting the fit when the first couple of try-ons were something like wrestling matches to get the shoe on and off, even with the two loops and elastic material at the ankle and instep areas. HOWEVER, I found that it took just a few wearings for that problem to disappear completely. The elastic stretched out just enough so that the process of putting on and taking off the Jax shoes became quick and easy, and I never feel that the shoes might slip off while I'm wearing them, even in very muddy areas or walking across a moderately steep slope or a rocky, uneven surface. The Jax is extremely comfortable, whether doing light yard chores or medium/heavy projects involving digging with shovels and rock removal. Needing to exchange for a half size larger was not an issue because the process was easy and fast, and if a new purchaser is patient with the somewhat snug on and off process at first, after a few uses I'm of the opinion that they will be just as happy with the Jax as I am.

These shoes are good shoes but I “three stared” them because the toe cap is not flexible and it being not a protective toe shoe I would expect it to have more flexibility. The solid cap is there to prevent water/dew I suppose and provide some amount of toe protection but I think a tough and breathable material would work there too. I also think the arch support could be more “present”. I had to remove it and put an off the shelf arch support in it. It just cost me more to make the shoe more comfortable for long days.
