My first pair

After researching yard-specific footwear, I settled on Kujo. While the initial price point gave me pause, the quality seemed to justify it, and an online discount helped. The delivery was prompt. After an initial break-in phase, the shoes have proven to be very comfortable for heavy yard work like mulching and edging. They seem sturdy, but the true benchmark will be their longevity. Given that I cut 3/4 of an acre roughly 40 times a year, I’ll have a better idea of their durability by the end of the season. For now, they are a solid recommendation.

Thanks for getting some Kujo's! While most people love the comfort of their Kujo's, we completely understand that everyone's foot is different. It sounds to me like our insole might not be fitting your foot shape properly, or providing the exact arch support and/or softness your foot is used to. The good news is that our insoles are removable, so replacing the Kujo insoles with a different insole that works best with your feet - would probably do the trick and give you the comfort you need. Also, just wanted to let you know that we've made a bunch of improvements to the Yard Shoe (and Jax), including way better sole bonding for durability, a wider toe box, and also a softer cushion. Thank you for getting a pair of Kujo's! Just so you are aware, the Yard Shoes (And Jax) are not 100% waterproof. We wanted these to have some water-resistance, but a big reason a lot of people love them is the breathable mesh that helps keep feet cooler in the hot afternoons (compared to 100% waterproof shoes that are sealed up and not breathable). If you are looking for a 100% waterproof option, we would suggest our Kujo Surge Rubber Boot or X4S Waterproof Boot.

They are made to fit wide feet .

Unwearable

I was very excited to try these shoes as I am a lawncare pro and wanted something that I could have that’s consistent and might go to shoe on a daily basis. I was extremely disappointed in these shoes. The waterproofing was nice, but they were so ridiculously uncomfortable around the ankle with basically zero padding that they were unbearable. Furthermore, the company does not accept returns after they have been worn despite the fact that the shoes are yard shoes and expected to be dirty. So I now have over $100 shoes sitting in my garage that are completely unusable. I will not be purchasing again. Strongly recommend Cujo looks into placing some padding around the ankle for greater comfort.
