First ordered my usual 9.5 size but those were a tight fit. Going up one half size solved the problem, though if you're going to wear heavy socks you might need to go up a full size. The shoes have turned out to be extremely comfortable. They don't have a lot of the weight associated with a work boots, especially in the heel. I've kept them on for hours, comfortably. My feet feel a bit warmer than in other shoes but not hot. The soles are well designed. Our property ranges from nice lawn to very uneven ground where trees were recently removed. I've had good traction wherever I've been working. I must point out that it took a little doing to get to this level of comfort: Out of the box these will be some of the most difficult-to-get-into shoes you have ever worn. The shoe is tapered at the ankle to keep dirt, etc., from getting in, and it's hard to get your foot past that constriction. Had to use a metal shoehorn(plastic one broke!). After break-in they are much easier to get into; loosening the laces--a lot--is the key! Speaking of laces, if you plan to use every lace hole on the shoe there will be very little lace left to tie. I skipped the last set of holes. All in all, a very good shoe for the price, once broken in.
