Got tired of buying 4 or 5 pairs of tennis shoes every summer and went with something that costs more but will actually last more than a couple months. The cheap sneakers I typically buy fall apart about a week after they get wet. Sometimes you just have to work on wet lawns so getting your shoes wet is unavoidable. The other option I tried was light weight waterproof hiking boots. A good par runs between $150-$200 and they do not breathe as well as these shoes.
